New Blog

Hi All!

So as you can see, I've decided to start a new blog. The blog address is different then the previous one, so bookmark this one. I can't promise that it will be updated every-other day, maybe only once a week, but I'm going to try my best. We have a lot going on at all times, but again, I will do my best. So let's see what's been new...

Raymond has been doing well. He is now getting Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy on top of his Physical Therapy. He has been making a lot of good progress with those. He rolls all over the living room and thinks it is so funny! He really enjoys playing with Isabella and vise-versa. He does have to have tubes put in his ears coming up in the near future. We are just waiting for his doctor's to all give their approval. It looks like he will have to be admitted to the hospital for a day or two before hand for monitoring (since he's going under anesthesia) and then the day after. So we will be there a minimum of three days. Once the tubes are out then Raymond will be able to be fitted for his hearing aids. Yay!

Chris helped his mom move Saturday so Isabella, Raymond and I went to the movies. Isabella wanted to see Marmaduke. It was cute but not what I expected. Raymond was happy since I was holding him. He made it through about 3/4 of the movie before he fell asleep. The local movie theatre also offers free family movies on Tuesday's and Wednesday's so I think we will check those out too.
Isabella starts preschool on August 31. She is so excited! I know she will love it. We bought her a backpack today at the Pottery Barn Outlet and she already wants to pack it and get it ready. I hope she doesn't think it will be full of toys. She's my silly girl! Isabella is also very happy about her new found friends Melody. She's going to come visit Isabella real soon and Isabella is really looking forward to it. It seems like she always has boys to play with, not girls. So this is especially fun for her.

Isabella also had her first dentist appointment last Thursday. She was very excited to go. She is actually seeing my pediatric dentist. I can't believe he's still in practice! His son is now his partner. Dr. Miller is very funny and Isabella was at ease with him. He put Isabella's headband on Daddy which made her giggle. Dr. Miller said her teeth look great and that she did extremely well for her first visit. Raymond was along and even he got in on the fun!

For those who might not already know, we are expecting our third baby. Isabella is SO excited. She keeps telling me she hopes the baby is a girl. I told her we can't call our order in, so we will just have to wait and see. She's the best big sister, so no matter what the sex of the baby is she will be thrilled.

Today (Wed. 6/30 - I started typing this Sunday so it shows Sunday's date as the post date instead of today) we had a nice surprise visit from my Aunt Jeanne, Uncle Chuck and cousin Stephanie. Isabella loves "her" Stephanie. We walked over to the farmer's market and checked everything out. We bought fruits, veggies and Isabella got her weekly doughnut. She also bought Daddy a fishing lure in the flee market section.

Tonight we had to go to Lowes to buy a bunch of stuff for my Aunt's house. She broke her leg on Good Friday and has been in the hospital/rehabilitation center ever since. She isn't able to come home until she has a hand rail out front and a permanent step. So we are going to head down on Saturday and hopefully we can get it all done. She wants to come home so bad. I don't blame her. Chris is also going to put a ceiling fan up for her in her dining room to help circulate air since she doesn't have central air. We went to my Aunt's house last Sunday to measure a few things. I called my Mom-Mom and asked if she was going to be home that we could come visit. She was actually headed to my Aunt Jeanne's house for a last minute thrown together birthday party for my Aunt Patsy. So we went there and it was really nice! We got to see a lot of family who we don't get to see that often. My cousin Ashley was there who is also pregnant. She's due November 15 and having a little girl! I was happy to see her pregnant belly.

Isabella and Melody (They love each other!!!)

Addy decided to sit in Raymond's Bumbo seat - she's a cutie!

Happy Birthday Aunt Patsy!!!

I don't think there is much more to tell you. We have been busy, busy, busy!!! Isabella and I have been really enjoying the break in the weather. It's much nicer to play outside when you aren't sweating to death from the humidity. We will enjoy it while it lasts! So until next time...

Lots of Love,

Erica
