National Pet Adoption Month
June is National Pet Adoption Month. We adopted Sadie 6 years ago. Isabella was about 4 months old. She is such a good girl. If you are thinking about getting a pet, please consider adoption. Many people think they cannot get a pure-bred dog through adoption which isn't at all the case. There are many rescues out there that specialize in one type of dog breed.
On the flip side, many people buy/adopt dog's and other animal's and don't realize how much of a commitment they actually are. Please make this decision only after careful consideration. Also, make sure you do a lot of research on the breed. That is vital to a long and happy relationship for everyone involved.
